Meet the Team!

Michael Peck, MD

Dr. Peck graduated with his undergraduate degree in biology in 1976 in biology from Harvard University. He attended medical school at the University of Colorado, graduating in 1981, when he married his wife Celeste. They have three children, Mark, Julie, and David. He did his surgical residency at the University of Arizona, followed by a burn fellowship at Harbowview Hospital in Seattle, WA, and a research fellowship at the Cincinatti Shriner's. He has held faculty positions in Miami, FL and Chapel Hill, NC, but most recently joined the Arizona Burn Center in November of '07.
Nicole Farrar, PA-C

Nicole graduated from Midwestern University Physician Assistant Program, Master of Medical Science August of 2007, member of the Arizona Burn Center Staff since September 2007. She also holds master degree from Midwestern University in Biodmedical Science. This is Nicole's second international outreach mission; she traveled to Costa Rica last year.


Pat Kardos, RN, BSN, CCRN

Pat began her nursing career in 1993 at Glendle Community college with a Associate Degree in Nursing. Her first job after graduation was at the Arizona Burn Center. She recently returned when she took a position as nurse manager. She also has gone back to school and completed her BSN in 2009. Pat is married, has 2 children, 8 grandchildren, one stepson, and a zoo's worth of animals in her home in Arizona.


Kristin Grisson

Kristin is currently pursuing a degree in Community Health from Northern Arizona University. She is a full time student with three children aged 8 to 12. Her long term goal is to some day to enter a physician assistant program.






Julie Peck

Julie is a 21 year old college student at Northeastern University, majoring in both english literature and spanish language. She is also currently taking classes to fullfill pre-med requirements, and wound like to go to medical school to be an OBGYN. She is well traveled at her young age, and believes she has traveled to at least 24 countries.
